How does the 100% Online CELTA course work?
In the 100% Online CELTA, the whole course is done online via face-to-face videoconferencing – input, lesson preparation, teaching practice, lesson feedback, and tutorials. It’s just as intensive as the usual CELTA, of course! Expect about 30 hours of training a week, Monday to Friday, and 20+ hours of your own time for studying, lesson planning and four written assignments.
On the 100% Online CELTA, the whole course is done online via videoconferencing – input, lesson preparation, teaching practice, lesson feedback, and tutorials.

How does online methodology work?
You will join our online classroom to participate in dynamic and practical input sessions. These will be led by our highly qualified team of tutors. You will be expected to participate in plenary and in pairs and groups, just like in a real classroom. The sessions will also showcase tools, activities and ideas you can use in your own classes.
Each CEC Virtual Class includes access to our E-Learning platform for guided self-study giving students 24/7 learning, to improve upon the language and skills learnt during class time.
Requirements:
To join our online classrooms, students will need a PC or laptop with a stable internet connection.
Students’ device of choice will also need to have a webcam & microphone to interact with classes.
You cannot participate in the course on your mobile phone.
All CEC Virtual online classes are conducted through Zoom software which is free to download.
